We close out our 2026 Bowman breakdown as Big Bob takes us through the final division in the National League. He is back for one more episode as he provides us with more insight and analysis of the first Bowman prospects and how you should feel about targeting each of them in the latest Bowman release.
Welcome to the Talking Cards podcast with Grand Salami and the Juice. No Grand Salami today for this episode, but I do have Bob returning, Big Bob, as a very special guest. And how are you doing, Bob? I'm great. How are you? I'm doing good. I'm excited to be able to wrap up our NL and our Bowman prospect preview. And then one last time in case anyone's missed it or they just need to hear it again, because I'm sure anyone that's listened to these past couple of in these past couple of episodes have loved your insight on everything. And they're going to want to know where to catch that outside of these episodes. So why don't you just tell us one more time about where we could find you?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you can find me on Twitter at Big Bob's Cards. And then of course over on the website www.prospect-analytics.com. You can go over there and take a look. Updated hobby rankings, everything that I can bring you to kind of, as I said, give you an advantage in the Bowman game. It's been a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_00Right. Perfect. So let's just get right into this. We are going to start with from the NL West, the Arizona Diamondbacks. We just got a pair of first Bowman guys. Which one do you think we should be most excited on?
SPEAKER_01Oh, usually I tend to gravitate towards the auto. And unfortunately, only one of their prospects got first auto, and it's Carlos Virahanda. He's not super exciting for Bowman. He's kind of a glove first catcher. Okay, hit tool. I think the hit tool is going to be fine, but he's he's really graded for the above-average defense. So he's like a good contact defensive catcher, projected for below average power. It's not the best hobby profile. He did have a good year last year between the complex league and single A. Hit 300. Low strikeout guy. You know, as I said, not a ton of power. ISO was like around 100. So he is what he is. He he hits the ball well. He plays good defense, not a ton of power, and he's a catcher. So I'm not sure how much hobby upside there will be. And that's the only first autograph that the Diamondbacks have. So they're probably going to be one of the two or three cheapest teams in PYT breaks.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, for the hobby, I'm usually suckered into catchers because their prices are so low. But I don't even think I'm going to be suckered into this guy. There's just nothing to get too excited about. Yeah, just based on what you're saying, he's going to end up being a pass for me, I think.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and they do have, and we talked about it in the last episode, the uh the draft pick pairings dual autographs. As I said, that Andrew McCutcheon that you'll get with the Pirates, the other half of that card, is a Max Scherzer in his original drafted team, Diamondbacks. So there is a Max Scherzer Diamondbacks autograph if you want to chase the Diamondbacks, which is a very interesting card.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I I just imagine getting the Diamondbacks and winning that random. Not at all. You can't be expected to hit that card. All right. And then the other guy we have here, Niervert Perez. Like you said, no auto for him out of Venezuela infielder.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, not much to chase there. It's not nothing very hobby exciting, unfortunately.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So Diamondbacks, not the team you want to hit in a random.
SPEAKER_01No, probably one of the one of the two worst teams as far as checklist goes.
SPEAKER_00All right. But let's swing that pendulum to the other side as we talk about the Rockies and their chases. And there is obviously one big, huge chase here. You talked about him a little bit last episode. Let's get right into Ethan Holiday here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so he Ethan Holiday is, you know, the Rockies actually have a couple very sneaky names on this list, but Ethan Holiday is going to be the big one. I mentioned on the last episode. I think that Edward Florentino should be priced twice as high as anybody else in this product. That's how much I like him. But there are certain things outside of the play on the field that really drive your hype in the hobby. We saw Jackson Holiday kind of get pumped like the whole time he was a prospect. It's like you couldn't even go on Twitter without seeing what Jackson Holiday did for the day. You kind of get that here with Ethan. Everyone loves him. They think he's Jackson with power. So everyone's been excited. He was like the name everyone wanted in Bowman draft. So now you've had this layoff of four or five months where everyone's just waiting for Ethan Holiday cards. He's on all the mock-ups. He's on the box. Topps is kind of shoving them down our throats to make us want Ethan Holiday. And he is a great player. As far as just purely prospect rankings, he would probably be more like the sixth or seventh best hitter for me on this checklist. But because of his name, because of the power, because of all the things that he comes with, if you're if you're chasing value, he's probably the number two player in this entire product for me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm kind of soured on him just because of his brother and how he ended up panning out. I I know, like, of course, he still has a whole career to write, but oh man, I got one of those Jackson Holiday. I got one of those Jackson Holiday fun face cards. Oh, do you? Yeah, and I was so I I ended up selling it at a show. But yeah, his cards, I have some of his other stuff, and he just hasn't been the guy like we wanted. So unfortunately, his brother for me is is taking a bit of the hit on that.
SPEAKER_01I will say, I will say Jackson had. So I mean, Jackson obviously deserved to be the number one prospect, but I always felt like his Bowman value was kind of inflated by the fact that he was the number one pick. He was never a player that was going to have high-end power or speed, which is usually something that sells in the hobby. So it always is always kind of confusing because I was like, you know, Jackson's a really good hitter, really polished hitter coming out of high school. I don't think he ever really had the tools to be a huge hobby name, but we kind of just like made him one. On the flip side of that, his brother has 70 grade raw power. So it's like if you were let down by Jackson's cards because you were like, I thought I was gonna hit for more power, Ethan Holiday is a power hitting holiday, is what he is. Of course, a hit tool is gonna be a little bit shakier, a little bit longer of a swing. Struggled with strikeouts last year, but he looks a lot better early on. I would say that I honestly think even though he wasn't the number one pick, his hobby ceiling probably higher than his brother's, just because there's so much more power if he's able to, you know, kind of get that swing in check.
SPEAKER_00Fair enough. All right, and let's move on to some of the other guys. So obviously Ethan Holiday is in his own tier for this team. Who's the next guy there?
SPEAKER_01So, next one for me, I I don't know, I don't know if I'm gonna be higher than everybody else on him. I think that he's gonna be a popular name around this this point, and he's gonna be like in my next tier down from holiday, is gonna be Roldie Brito. I really like him. He's a very exciting prospect. Plays a little bit infield, a little bit outfield. He's been a big riser in my hobby prospect rankings. He has a little bit of a ground ball issue. He needs to learn how to lift the ball because he does have plus you know raw power, but he does hit a lot of ground balls. So he's gonna need a little bit of a tweak, learn how to generate some loft that that's going to turn into home run power, which of course we kind of need it to for the hobby. You kind of need, you know, the the those hard singles, those hard doubles don't do as much as the home runs. But as far as tools, as I said, above average, maybe plus power. He's got double plus speed. Fantastic year last year. He hit 371 between the complex league and single A. Talking about a teenager, four home runs, 35 stolen bases. Now, the power wasn't that great. As I said, he needs to, you know, figure out how to translate his raw power into more extra base hits. That has looked better this year, early on. He's already like almost matched his home run total from last year. His ISO's up, I think, over 50 points. He's trending in the right direction. I don't know how much love he'll get in this product, it's which it honestly makes me like him because I think we talked about it with a couple other guys. I I kind of like zigging when people zag, you know? Everyone's going to be chasing Ethan Holiday in this product. Rolly Brito then becomes like the player B chase. And the the player B chases in Bowman products is actually like kind of a spot that I love to target when I'm buying singles because all these big spenders who are paying thousands to buy the Rockies and all these multi-case breaks, they're doing so because they're chasing Ethan Holiday cards, right? So often these people will immediately sell all of their other hits of the other of the other players they hit to kind of recoup some of what they spent. You know, they're chasing Ethan Holiday, nothing else. Those player B chases, their good autographs, some of the good color is usually pretty available after the release of a product because all the people who hit them weren't chasing them. So it kind of makes them like a nice, like I always call them player B. Make makes them a sneaky chase. I think Roldie Brittto is going to be one of those. I love Roldie Brittro. I'll let everyone pay thousands of dollars for the Rockies and 100 case breaks to chase their Ethan Holiday. And then when they send those Roldie Brittos off to auction, I will be buying them. I I like him quite a bit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's definitely a good way to look at it. Um, fortunately, in the Brett and Salami break, he's still at 150 per case. So they're not sleeping on him.
SPEAKER_01It doesn't seem like it does not, it does not seem like they're sleeping on him. But I mean, you can't really blame them. There's just like some some guys are, you know, they they don't pop on the stat sheet, and that's sometimes the best way to get undervalued prospects. Unfortunately, his season last year was really good, and he's playing again this year. So I guess it was he was never going to be cheap, unfortunately, for me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Well, I know that they also like take your opinion into account quite a bit. So that you can't.
SPEAKER_01So they knew that they knew that I liked him, so they they bumped their prices up. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00All right, and we got uh we do have a couple more guys here. Anyone else to really be excited about?
SPEAKER_01There's no one else really exciting. I mean, technically, TJ Rumfield is a Colorado prospect, but he's in his Yankees uniform on the card, so you can't even hit his cards. Everyone else is a non-auto who gets a first for the Rockies, and I'm I'm not really excited about those, but Charlie Condon is going to get uh a prospect autograph, so that'll be his second autograph. That'll probably sell pretty well. His base autograph's doing really well right now. His first base auto right now is over 100 bucks. So you might hit Charlie Condon's second auto and be like, oh, this isn't the card I was chasing. That card might sell for more than a lot of the first autographs on this checklist. So I think Charlie Condon, he's also got a dual auto with Cade Anderson for the number three pick or the number two pick. Number two pick. Yeah. Number three pick. No, Cade Anderson fell to three. That's right. So there's a Condon, Cade Anderson, number three overall pick, draft pick pairings. That's a cool card. Condon has a patchwork. So you're chasing Ethan Holiday. Roll D. Brito is kind of your player B, but I think he's the best player B of any team in this entire product. So that immediately makes the Rockies probably the second or third best team, in my opinion, to chase. Even though it's not a ton of depth, you get two really good names. And as I said, you can always fall back on Charlie Condon, you know, second, third autographs. Those will probably sell well as well.
SPEAKER_00I just I feel like I always look at Rockies because it's a small market. I feel like I get a bit of a steal sometimes. And then so I have a lot of Rockies prospects that just have not gone the way I wanted them to. So I'm almost done with the Rockies.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and that's the tricky thing, especially like about, you know, I know that like leading up to the draft last year, I know so many people because I mean, people we've been talking about Ethan Holiday since he was in high school. It was like, I can't wait for Jackson Holiday's little brother to get drafted and we can trace his cards. And I feel like everyone, when he got drafted by the Rockies, was collectively like, you know, like everyone's afraid. The Rockies don't have a great track record with developing teenage prospects, especially anytime recently. I think Adele Amador was the last like big one they had. He kind of didn't perform like we all thought he was going to. Their track record isn't great, which kind of makes Ethan Holiday and Roll Dee Brito like I could see why people would be kind of scared to chase them, but I still like them. They'll both be in my top five to six.
SPEAKER_00Amador have uh gold first Bowman Auto PSA 10. I loved him. And me too. It's a shame. That's all I have to say about that. I still have that card. Um, all right. Well, let's move on from the Rockies, which I can't seem to do, but let's go ahead and talk about the Dodgers. We got a few guys on their first Bowman checklist. Who is their guy to go for?
SPEAKER_01So they have a couple guys on the checklist, only one autograph. He's another one who's gonna fall into my sleeper range. I actually think I put him in tier five, maybe in my rankings that are gonna be coming out. By the way, I'm gonna do top 20 to 25 hitters to chase in order, tiered. All that good stuff will be on the website probably by the time this episode comes out. So you make sure you go and check that out when you start opening boxes so you know who these headers are. I'll give you kind of scouting reports on all of them. But Brendan Tunick is the Dodgers prospect that you're gonna want to hit. He has the first autograph. Really good tools, kind of like a shaky hit tool. So he's one of those, if you want to buy the above average power and the plus speed and and and kind of hope that he improves the contact skills a little bit. I think that he's a great player to hold. Unfortunately, he's a little old for the level. He's 20 years old, he's in single A. He was in the complex league last year. He got kind of a late start, but showed good power, showed good speed. He's just he's he's not he's not my favorite. I I would say when you get down to that 20 to 25 range, you're kind of taking the chance on tools. You know, you it once you get down into those players where their base autographs are, you know, not selling in the top 20 names. One of the best strategies is to look for tools. Like, hey, I'm gonna take this guy with plus power, plus speed. I know that he has contact concerns, I know he has strikeout concerns, but maybe the tools are so good that his hobby value pops because he goes 2020, you know, something like that. So those guys, even when they're older, are are kind of fun, like cheap chases. You know, Tunic's only 20, but I do think that he has not sure about the hit tool. Think the power and speed are good. So he's kind of a fun, like back end chase for me.
SPEAKER_00And the two not notable guys, we have Francisco Espinoza and Patrick Copen, are they worth taking a look at it all?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, the Dodgers are another team. It seems like it seems like they just their prospects. I remember people sleeping on Davilon in 25 draft. And as soon as he starts hitting home runs, we're like, we should have known that the the Dodgers prospect was going to be better than we thought he was gonna be, you know? So yeah, no, I think Espinoza and Copen are both worth worth looking at, but yeah, Tunic's definitely the one that you want in this product. And then the Dodgers are a very tricky team to me for PYT breaks because their list of non-autographed hits for like short printed inserts is very, very interesting. So you have Roki Sasaki, Yamamoto, and Otani are all going to get the patchwork insert, which we now know thanks to Slab Squatch, will be a print run of less than 200, and those will probably sell pretty well. So you have all three of the Japanese players have a patchwork. Otani has a crystallized, he has an anime in the Team Japan BBC uniform. He has a final draft. Haideo Nomo has an anime, which is like that's really cool to me. I think that card will do numbers. And then they have a bunch of random ones. Alex Freeland gets his rookie auto. Freddie Freeman has an insert auto. Hosue Dapala has some insert autos. So only one first autograph, but crazy depth. So it kind of puts them into that middle tier for breaks for me because it's it's tough knowing that you might skunk when you're only chasing one autograph. But if those patchworks are selling well, if the crystallizers are selling well and you can hit Otani, that immediately makes you a team, you know, worth looking at.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. In any Otani, anything. Yeah, you're anything, literally anything. Yeah. Dodgers to me seem to be a pick your player kind of team because you don't want to pay for that team for Otani prices if you're chasing prospects. So it's just such a pick your player team for me. That that's what I'm doing. If I want one of those guys, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I know. I I like I I will be interested to see it. I wonder how Bert's doing it. So the Otani anime will be there's a there's a couple players who their their anime cards are WBC. I think one I think Soto's is actually Dominican Republic. It's not Mets. Otani has a Japan one. So I'd be interested to know if the breakers like, does that card go to the Dodger spot or do they have separate spots?
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, I guess we'd have to see for a team. I'm just looking at the player break, which I realize it doesn't matter for.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So I wonder, I wonder if in PYT, because if in PYT, if you're if you're assigning that Otani Japan anime to the Dodgers, talk about a cool card. That's gonna be that that and changes that almost entirely changes how I look about them in a PYT break, knowing if if uh that card went to the Dodger spot or not. Mm-hmm. For sure. That's such a big card, too. You know, you're gonna be able to get it. It's gonna be it's gonna be monster. It's gonna be a monster.
SPEAKER_00Okay. And next up we have a team with a few first Bowman guys. We have the Padres. How are you feeling about them?
SPEAKER_01They're they're they're in the lower tier for me, not quite as low as like the diamond backs that we talked about. They do have a couple of autographs that I'm interested in. The first one's probably Jorge Quintana. He's a six six foot two shortstop, 19-year-old. So, I mean, anytime you can get that in in Bowman, that's pretty uh a pretty good, you know. If you don't know who you're who you're hitting and you hit a teenage six foot two shortstop, there's worse places to be. Sign out of Venezuela. Actually, came over from the Brewers in a trade, but he was a 1.7 million signing bonus guy. So I mean, there's a good prospect pedigree there. He's got good power, decent speed. I think that he's going to be a really good sleeper name. I don't think that a lot of people are after him. He's in in single A this year. He's playing okay, but he's not really lighting the world on fire. He honestly didn't really light the world on fire last year between Single A and the Complex League. But the tools are good, the pedigree's good. The Padres seem like, you know, even though they trade all of their prospects every year at the deadline, they are good at finding prospects, you know, and until they trade their whole farm away, they do usually find and develop young talent pretty well. So them going and acquiring Jorge Quintana, but probably a pretty, you know, savvy move, six foot two-inch switch hitter. As I said, that's a pretty decent hobby profile. I don't think he'll be a big name, but I think he's one of the better sleepers that you can have in this product.
SPEAKER_00And then we have the other two guys, Miguel Mendez and Truett Madonna. Which one of those two uh would you say is above the other?
SPEAKER_01I'd probably be looking at Madonna, especially because he has an autograph. He he's an interesting name. I don't know if I put him in the sleeper category. He's a player that I don't expect to be very expensive. He was an 11th round pick out of high school last year. So he was a 19-year-old catcher, maybe a first baseman. We'll see how the defense develops behind the plate. So a move to first base, not unlikely, but he's a six foot two-inch teenager with plus power. Never a bad thing to have going for you. The the Padres are kind of a sneaky team in that I don't think Jorge Quintana or Truett Madonna are going to be top 20, 25 chases for anybody. So they're probably going to be both cheap singles, cheap team to chase and breaks. But to get two teenage hitters, both with good tools, both with maybe above average to plus power, not the not the worst look for uh for for Bowman breaks, that's for sure.
SPEAKER_00Outside of the prospects, how are we feeling about the prospects? Well, not the prospects. So yeah, Padres checklist.
SPEAKER_01So they do have, you know, we talked to Slab Squatch and he said that the the patchwork inserts again are gonna have less than 200 copies per the pack odds. So the patchwork inserts should are pretty short printed inserts, and I think that they're gonna sell pretty well because you know, topp's kind of unveiled them as like this new thing. So they are kind of cool. Manny Machado has a Padres patchwork, Tony Gwynn has a Padres patchwork, and so does Fernando Tatis Jr. So three different players for the Padres. You can kind of hit that short print insert. They do have a draft pick pairings dual autograph of Dave Winfield with Barry Larkin, which is that's I know it's the only one that's like I feel like a lot of them are like players from like the last 10, 15 years. That was kind of one of the random ones that I was like, that's an interesting pairing. So you have the two autographs, you're chasing Quintana, and then after Quintana, Truet Madonna would be your backup chase for the autographs, and after that, you got a few short printed inserts. So they're not a super exciting team, but if they're under 100 a case, if they're 50-60, I don't think the Quintana and Madonna are a bad one two as deep, deep sleeper options to kind of go after.
SPEAKER_00Okay, and then let's get to our last team of the NL West, the National League, and Bowman. This is our last team for our Bowman. It is the San Francisco Giants. We got six first Bowman players here, but not really a lot of autos. Who is the guy that you are looking after?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's a shame. So the the the Giants have a pretty solid list of names that aren't autos. I actually am higher than a lot on on Parks Harbor, who is, I think he's in some of my top 200 hobby hitters now on the on the update. He gets a first chrome, which a lot of people have been waiting for. He's kind of got a funky swing if if you watch him. Real interesting setup the way that he that he moves his hands. But hits for good power. He's kind of an exciting name, but no autograph, unfortunately. But his first color is it should be pretty fun to chase. But I would say that the autograph chase for them is gonna be Carlos Gutierrez. I'm gonna have him in the sleeper category. Um, you might not get a ton of love because he's like a five foot nine outfielder and very low signing bonus guy, kind of came out of nowhere. He signed out of Mexico under 50 grand. Um, so people are gonna see, you know, there's not a ton of pedigree. He's a five foot-9 outfielder, he's not that exciting. He not a high pedigree guy as a low signing bonus, international signing a couple years ago. And he's five foot nine, so people are gonna sleep on him. But he's another one. When I'm looking for undervalued players in a release, I often go to scout the stat line. Their peak projections are really good at locating undervalued players because they basically just use analytics and they find, you know, they match up minor league production to major league success, try to predict, you know, even if a player's not flashy, it might not be a name. They're doing the right things that translate, you know, as far as offensive production. And he's a name that if you sort the players on this checklist by the scout, the stat line peak projections, he comes up extremely he's not a huge name, but I mean, he he debuted in the DSL in 2023. He played the Complex League 2024, single A last year. His WRC plus by season 147, 137, 150. He's batted about 350 at all three levels. He's played at not a big power guy, but like I said, you just can't argue that kind of production. It's you know, everyone, everyone, no one wanted to say Mantanacci's cards because that profile is just not exciting, you know. But all it takes is for that power to show up. And you never know that the when that's gonna happen with some of these hitters who have you know good approaches and and good contact skills. And Carlos Gutierrez, I mean, 2024 in the complex league, he had like a 94% contact rate. I I he's he's a really sound contact hitter. Again, I'm not sure how the hobby's going to view him. He is a smaller guy. The the hobby tools, the the power and the speed, maybe not that exciting. But if you're looking for a player who's cheap and he's just a very productive hitter that you think, you know, this is a very safe floor, and then if the power comes along, I think his stock could pop. I think that Carlos Gutierrez is kind of a solid sleeper in this product.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it looks like um Brett and Bert only have him in the ten case for two twenty. Looks like a really really good price. I was just l checking that out.
SPEAKER_01He'll he'll be like right uh I don't know if he'll be in my top twenty-five, but he'll be like right there, like on the edge, like an honorable mention. Like I said, you it it's hard to argue with we all want to chase the big power, the big speed, these flashy, exciting players, but there's nothing wrong with production. There's nothing going to the bottom of the singles list, finding some cheap guys who are just solid hitters. And from what we've seen from Carlos Grudieras, for over the first three years of his professional career, he seems like he's he's kind of a sneaky player.
SPEAKER_00And then another guy with an auto here for the Giants. We have uh is it Jean Carlos, CEO? It seems like a fun name to say.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that is fun to say, right? He is a uh Cuba signing, came over from Cuba in 2022. He he's another not a ton of pedigree. He signed for $100,000. He he played really well last year, actually, between single A and high A. Hit 304, 29 WRC plus. He had, I don't know if he went 10 homers, 20, 12 bases, but I think maybe he was just under it. So he was a second baseman that doesn't have a lot of pedigree. He's in the complex league this year. He was he was rehabbing the injury this spring, so he started the year in the complex league, but I would imagine that at some point we see him go back to his regular level. As I said, he was single A and high A last year, but 130 WRC plus between two levels, you know, not that exciting of a player as a five foot ten second baseman. I don't think a lot of people are going to be after his cards, but another player who he's just a he's a solid hitter. I don't I don't think that you know, when his autographs come out and they're under $10, I don't think he's the worst player to sit on, but I wouldn't say that he's super exciting for the hobby.
SPEAKER_00We do have a pair of right-handed pitchers from Venezuela with them. Arjanis Kayama and Keener Martinez. Anything to get excited about it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, let me pull up this. I can actually tell you where I have them ranked real quick. I think one of them is. But yeah, they're um they're actually both. It's a shame they decided to go with a good job with this pitcher checklist. I really think that the checklist of pitcher autographs is really strong. Um, I think people are gonna sleep on the pitchers. They have two pitchers of Giants. I actually like both of their pitchers. Unfortunately, neither of them are getting an autograph, but Kayama is now in my top 80 for hobby pitchers. So he's a great name. And honestly, Kyner Martinez is a solid one as well. He's in my top 150. I like both of them. I would say that Kayama is probably a more fun hobby name. Teenage pitcher, really good stuff. It's a shame that neither of them have autographs, but I do think that you know, if you want to set up some color, they could be fun ones. Hopefully, they get their first autograph in Chrome. As I said, both of them are already ranked as top 200 hobby pitchers by me. But yeah, I would give the edge to Kayama. He's he's kind of a fun one.
SPEAKER_00All right. Anything else for the Giants to be excited about? I know they have Bryce Eldridge rookies to chase.
SPEAKER_01They do, so they actually uh gave us quite a bit of Bryce Eldridge in this product. They he has two different insert autographs, and on top of that, he has he has a spotlight. So the Bryce Eldridge spotlight, especially with the black and orange uniform of the Giants, yeah, probably gonna be a real, really aesthetically pleasing card, really cool one. Eldridge also has the etched and glass and the final draft and the crystallized and the patchwork. So if you're someone who wants short printed autographs, I think Bryce Eldridge might have all of the cool ones in this product. So, you know, if you if you go into a break and you're chasing the Giants, they're a cheap team, they're not that exciting. As I said, I think four of their four of their six first players on this checklist are either base chrome or retail only autographs. They only have two first chrome autographs out of the six. So they're not an exciting break team, but those those Bryce Eldridge uh short printed inserts should should sell pretty well. He seems to do well.
SPEAKER_00Well, I think that about wraps it up. That is 2026 Bowman. That is our full prospect preview. Six episodes now. Bob, one more time, uh, because everyone I'm sure that has been listening to this really can tell that you know what you're talking about. And if they want to be able to find more, more in-depth analysis, tiers, week to week, god just different rankings and things. How can they find all that from you?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you can find it on Twitter at at Big Bob's Cards and again the website www.prospect-analytics.com. By the time this episode comes out, I'll have my chase rankings for hitters and pitchers in this product. I'll put out a cheat sheet, give you the signing bonuses, the scout grades, the stats of all these players so that you can kind of track them. And I'll do my personalized rankings and scouting reports so that you can, you know, kind of see the players where they're ranked, what I think their autograph should be selling for when you pull them out of this new product. So just a lot of fun stuff, updated hobby rankings, you know, prospect rankings every week. So everything that I can give you to help with your Bowman collection.
SPEAKER_00And I think what really sets Bob apart, if like you're wondering whether or not to subscribe or not, is he doesn't just give you all this info at the start of Bowman and say, all right, well, you're on your own now. He continues to update, he continues to let you know where steals might be. As of course, as breaks and things go on, prices change, as secondary prices get higher, those can change and just it bounces out a little bit. But Bob continues to kind of refine his rankings and what players you should be looking at, and it gives you constant updates on it. So if you're someone that is just breaking day one and that's it, this is great for you because you're gonna see the players that are sleepers that you can target before anyone else has an idea of them. But if you're someone that continues to get into Bowman breaks and continues to collect Bowman throughout, this is just a must follow. Just I've been a subscriber to you for a while now. I don't know how sometimes he has uh special breaks too at cost. Um, those aren't very often, but they're always appreciated. Yeah, he does special things for his followers like that, so it's great. And yeah, just one more time. Thank you so much, Bob, for being here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, thank you for having me. I appreciate all the kind words. Glad that you're enjoying the site. I've had a lot of fun with it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, absolutely. And uh, this is the juice on the talking cards podcast with Grant Salami, who is usually here. You can continue to listen to us for a couple more Bowman episodes. Next episode, we are going to be having Slab Squatch on, who we've talked about a lot on this show. He's gonna help us with our initial Bowman analysis as far as the checklist and the product more as a whole, not as in-depth as these prospect by prospect uh guides and listens. But yeah, definitely something that you'd want to hear before release day or on release day. And uh, yeah, that's about it. Thank you so much, everyone. Good night. Thank you.
